Alex McCaffer – Action Roofing
What is your job role and what does this involve?
I am company director of a small business based in Airdire. Being the owner of a small business means I wear a lot of hats and no two days are the same. How long have you worked there?
I set up the business 31 years ago and it has evolved over the years from a two man business to the size we are now. From the outset we have stood by our principals of listening to the client, understanding their needs / budget and ultimate objective

How has your company benefitted from being a member of BCTG?
The training group has been a great benefit to us allowing us to see the wide range of training courses available to our industry. It saves us having to source training providers ourselves and allows us to access good quality training at a discounted price. The meetings are also useful to attend where training and health and safety issues relevant to us are discussed and allows us to network with other construction companies.
